Ugh. I'm behind on updates again. Alright from Jordyn's birthday onward.....
Ok his birthday was May 3. They took him to the zoo that day, then we had his party that evening. It was very cute. He is four now. ^.^
The next day, everyone went to Connor Prairie. I LOVE that place! It's an Indiana historical place where the volunteers dress up and reenact as people from the nineteenth century. The buildings are even set up in that time. Just
look at the website to get a better idea.
The real purpose of this entry is to explain something even more important. Two months ago, my grandmother fell ill from cancer that she's had for eleven years. The doctors gave her three to four months to live. Last Tuesday (May 13), she got really sick. My dad just so happened to be near my house, so he took me to my aunt's house, where Grandma was living. The whole family rushed to her house to visit her, we all knew that it was the day; We stayed there all day. She died at 9:20pm that night. Her funeral was Saturday (May 17). Everyone is still very upset, though at the same time we're very happy for her: she's not in pain anymore, she lived her seventy years and she's in an awesome place now. She knew it was her time to go the night before. That also adds relief. I still cry now and then. Tears would not cease during the funeral, even after I went home.
I miss her so much. We were very close and had so much in common. It's because of her that I love classical music, old fashioned fancy things and just fancy things in general. She was my best friend. I can't wait to see her again in Heaven.
I work so hard on my websites just to get my mind off of her, or I'll cry otherwise. The internet is a great escape from reality. It's worked very well this week. Just sitting here writing this makes me wonder how much I'll take about her and make reference to her in future entries. That's ok though. It's healthy to release those feelings. I'm in mourning for goodness sake.
I better stop before I cry. I can feel it building.
