Last Saturday night, a guy shot a shotgun in his house! He lives only two doors down from me. So, about twenty minutes later, the police knocked on our door telling us that we needed to go down the opposite end of the street for safety. Ten to thirteen police cars were here!!! We were outside for about thirty minutes. After all of that, the police couldn't do anything because no one saw the guy shoot the gun and they couldn't get into his house without a warrant (he wouldn't answer the door). But before he shot the gun, some people saw him driving around drunk! I think it's stupid. What if he was holding someone hostage, he shot himself or someone else? Thank goodness, none of those possibilities were the case, but for future reference, what if? The police can't walk into a house without a warrant, but they can pull a car over and search it
without a warrant? Do you see something wrong with this picture?
It doesn't end there. Sometime between last night and earlier today, another guy here in my neighborhood killed himself!!! His wife died not too long ago and it was eating at him. >.<
Can you believe that last year, this area used to peaceful and safe and now it's getting bad? It's gotten bad within this past year. No one had ever shot a gun or comitted suicide here
ever! If it keeps up, we're moving! First, the kids turned into brats, and now this.........
My question still remains: what if?

well I hope it gets better and you don't have to move, thats crazy suicide and what happened last Saturday with the drunk shooting a shotgun in his house. I also don't see why they can't search his house with out a warrant, he shot a shotgun in there. Well I hope things get better over there.

Oh my gosh! The same sort of thing has been happening in my parent's neighbourhood! I really don't want them to move, because I grew up in that house. I hope you're able to stay too!
